Anime-Centric 'Crunchyroll' App Coming to PlayStation Vita

For those that need their anime fill on the go and don't have a tablet, the on-demand streaming app Crunchyroll will soon be available on the PlayStation Vita.



The news was announced at the 2013 Anime Expo along with numerous new series that will be on the subscription-based provider. Other than a version of the app is officially announced for the handheld, .




Details regarding launch date and specs are still forthcoming, but rest assured, those of you who have been demanding Crunchyroll's ever-growing library of anime and drama on your Vita...REJOICE! There's quite an extensive list of anime titles available, more so than the genre listing on Netflix but there is some overlap. Some of the more popular titles are Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, The World God Only Knows, and Hunter x Hunter.

Crunchyroll is also available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, numerous smart TVs, Roku, and now AppleTV. It's also on iPad, Android, and Windows mobile devices. A to try out before paying the $6.95/month membership.
