If you're looking for some new anime to watch during the summer I have a couple of recomendations that you might just like. Here is a list of a couple of recent anime that i've watched that I think are a MUST see. There's something for every taste so I hope this list comes in handy. ^^

[1] ATTACK ON TITAN // 2013 - ONGOING

One hundred years prior to the beginning of the story, giant humanoid creatures called Titans ( Kyojin) have forced humanity to devolve to a medieval level of technology and to retreat into a system of concentric Walls known as Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina. The series follows the story of Eren Jaeger, his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, and their friend Armin Arlert. After the outermost wall falls and Eren's mother dies in the resulting destruction, he vows revenge against the Titans and later enlists in the military, followed by his friends. Years later, during his first battle against the Titans, he discovers that he has the ability to transform into a Titan at will. Seen as a threat to mankind by some, and as a ray of hope by others, Eren joins his companions in a desperate fight to protect what remains of their society, while looking for answers to the mysteries surrounding the Titans, the Walls, and his newfound power as well.

[2] SUNDAY WITHOUT GOD // 2013

God abandoned the world on Sunday. As a result, nobody in the world can die or reproduce. A little girl, Ai, is the gravekeeper for a village. She has prepared 47 graves for the eventual deaths of every member of the village. Later, a boy who identifies himself as "Hampnie Hambart, the 'Man-eating Toy'," which is coincidentally the name that Ai's mother left behind as the name of her father, arrives in the village and slaughters everybody. Just what is going on.

[3] THE DEVIL IS A PART-TIMER// 2013

The story is about a demon king named Satan seeking to conquer the world of Ente Isla but, when confronted by the Hero Emilia Justina, is forced to retreat through a portal that transports him to modern day Tokyo, Japan. To survive and find a way to return to Ente Isla, Satan gains part-time employment at a fast food restaurant.

[4] HUNTER X HUNTER // 2011

The story focuses on a young boy named Gon, who discovers that his father, whom he was told was dead, is actually alive and well. He learns that his father, Ging, is a world-renowned Hunter: a licensed profession for those who specialize in fantastic pursuits such as locating rare or unidentified animal species, treasure hunting, surveying unexplored enclaves, or hunting down lawless individuals. Despite Ging having left his son with his relatives in order to pursue his own dreams, Gon departs upon a journey to follow in his father's footsteps, pass the rigorous Hunter Examination, and eventually find his father. Along the way, Gon meets various other kinds of Hunters and also encounters the paranormal.

Free! revolves around members of a high school boy's swimming team. Four boys--Haruka, Makoto, Nagisa and Rin--all participated in a swimming tournament shortly before graduating elementary school and later parted ways. Years later, they reunite when Rin challenges Haruka to a race and wins.
